- Pearson’s chi-square test to compare the categorical variables between rural and urban women;
- Student’s t-test was used to compare continuous variables between rural and urban women, and to compare the severity of depressive symptoms and healthy behavior frequency, and to distinguish between the two categories of marital status and between the two categories of education level in urban women;
- F test of analysis of variance to compare the severity of depressive symptoms and healthy behavior frequency between the three categories of the level of education in rural women;
- Pearson’s correlation coefficient r to correlate the severity of depression and healthy behavior frequency with continuous characteristics.
