- The article was peer reviewed.
- The study sample consisted of people with lived experience of Bipolar Spectrum Disorder (diagnosis confirmed by a researcher using a structured clinical interview, verified by clinician, or self-reported).
- The study focused on psychosocial etiology, process, or related factor implicated in the experience of suicidality for people living with Bipolar Disorder (as discussed in ‘The Current Review’ section above).
- The study reported any form of suicidality-related outcome (i.e., suicidal ideation, other suicide-related thoughts or feelings, urges, plans, attempts, behaviors), including non-suicidal self-injury or self-harm.
- The article was available in the English language.
