Investigation of Buckwheat Hulls as Additives in the Production of Solid Biomass Fuel from Straw
Abstract
:1. Introduction
- Determine the chemical–physical properties of pure raw materials (wheat straw, buckwheat hulls, and wood chips), mixtures of wheat straw, and buckwheat hulls in different proportions, and compare the main elements of the composition.
- Evaluate the main characteristics (content, melting properties, pH, and morphology) of ash produced during the thermal decomposition of analyzed raw materials to determine the most appropriate proportions of the mixtures.
