Mitigating Dust Pollution from Construction Activities: A Behavioural Control Perspective
Abstract
:1. Introduction
- Building a theoretical model of construction workers’ dust pollution control behavior by integrating factors affecting personal norms in an environmentally responsible work setting.
- Testing the applicability of the extended norm activation framework when a company’s environmental responsibility is included.
- Uncovering the relative importance of study variables in determining behavior intention.
- Testing the mediating impact of a company’s environmental conduct in the proposed theoretical framework. The intention is to understand how the perception of the worker about the company’s environmental credentials could potentially affect their personal norms and behavior.
