- New-onset arrhythmia or other electrocardiogram abnormalities;
- Alteration in left-ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) at cardiac ultrasound imaging;
- Elevated troponin or creatine phosphokinase MB (CK-MB) plasma concentrations;
- Hypotension (<90/60 mmHg) or need for amine administration to sustain blood pressure;
- Cardio-pulmonary arrest.
