This paper gives the mooring system of a floating wind turbine optimized under the conditions of small water depth. The overall response results of floating wind turbines using catenary mooring and tensioned mooring are compared and analyzed, and a more suitable catenary mooring method is selected. Then, the sensitivity of mooring accessories is studied separately, and the influence of accessories parameters on mooring system is analyzed. Using the control variables method to design a scheme for the combined use of clump weight and buoy, the difference between the effect of the same parameters on the mooring system. The accessories are used in combination and the effect on the mooring system. The effect of changing the mooring parameters on the performance optimization of the mooring system is more obvious. The topic of this paper is fixed the Journal of Applied Sciences, it can be considered to accepted when the problems below should be solved,

1.      In Ref. 9, Xu et al. has proposed different design solutions for moorings and their accessories in shallow water conditions and discussed and analyzed various solutions. The authors are requested to explain the differences between the design solutions and the research objectives of this paper and the literature 9.

2.      In Chapter 4, the coupled model validation, the simulation results obtained in the first part of SIMA alone under the action of irregular waves and although the data of FAST in the literature are in good agreement, there are some discrepancies with the experimental data. I hope the authors can give an explanation.

3.      The formatting of the headings in Table 4 differs somewhat from the formatting of other table headings in the paper. The author is requested to make changes to it.

4.      In the last paragraph of section 4.5 of the paper, in response to the description of the last figure, Fig. 12 should be changed to Fig. 11. The author is requested to make changes to it.

5.      In the last paragraph of section 4.5 of the thesis, in the description of the various parameters for the use of the combination of accessories, the influence of the mass parameters of the counterweight blocks needs to be explained in more detail or justified by the author.

6.      In chapter 5 of the thesis, for the obtained results of the influence of the accessory parameters, the more typical parts of which can be appropriately increased with some quantitative descriptions.
