This manuscript "Experimental investigation and micromechanics-based analytical modeling of creep and relaxation behaviors of Beishan granite" addresses an interesting topic covering the analytical analysis and modeling of creep and relaxation behaviors. The objective of study is clear, and context is quite well explained. However, a few major explanations or changes are required to publish it as a journal article.
1. Firstly, when the term creep phenomenon it being studied it is generally occurring at an elevated temperature. However, in this manuscript the elevated temperature parameter has not been considered. Therefore, the exact reasoning or the temperature at which the creep experimentation has been conducted should be clearly mentioned due to the fact that creep deformation is highly dependent on temperature.
2. Secondly, in the article section 2.1 first paragraph line 6-7 the tested confining stress levels have been outlined but the reason for selecting such stress levels has not be defined.
3. Similarly, in the article section 2.1 last two lines of 1st paragraph the applied deviatoric stress levels and given for which the reasoning of selected these exact 3 stress levels are selected for testing.
4. In Figure 2(a) some difference is seen in the results of confined stress of 15Mpa which should be clearly explained which such results are obtained.
5. In section 3.1 first line “mricrocracked: is spelled wrong should be corrected. Similarly, all the grammatical and spelling errors in the manuscript should be addressed.
6. In figure 6 (a) and 6 (b) slight variation between the test data and model prediction is seen hence the limitations of the model which cause this should be highlighted and explained.
7. Once again as described in the section. 4.4 paragraph 2 line 2-4 the creep time dependat parameter Γ shows high influence which again would be influenced by the temperature hence elevated temperature not being used in testing should be explained.

The paper is well-written but needs some minor revisions.
1- In the introduction, the applications of the proposed model should be mentioned in the beginning of the section.
2- There are methods used to solve the proposed model that should be included.
3- The motivation for this work should be added to the end of the introduction section.
4- The parameters in the equations in section 2 should be defined clearly.
5- Several typo errors should be revised.
6- The conclusion section should contain the main findings of the paper.
