A Novel Self-Adaptive Rectifier with High Efficiency and Wide Input Power Range
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The proposed design can switch between these two branches by the feedback network according to its output voltage level. The rectifier has been simulated, fabricated and tested. The measured conversion efficiency exceeds 50% over the input power range from 5 to 29 dBm, with a total dynamic range of 24 dB. The conversion efficiency of over 60% is from 10 dBm to 28 dBm. The maximum efficiency is 75.2% at 26 dBm. In contrast, I have some concerns about it.
1 A lot of work has been done in the literature; how is your work different from others? Please make a review table to elaborate on your contribution.
2. What is the range of energy transfer circuits, and how is this useful in various domains, e.g. wireless power mobile edge cloud? I am referencing one interesting paper, "Partial Offloading in Energy Harvested Mobile Edge Computing: A Direct Search Approach" please check and add some discussion in the literature regarding this aspect in the revised version.
3. The mentioned results are insufficient to claim the proposed scheme's effectiveness. Please compare your results with others also.
4. There are a lot of typos and grammatical errors in the paper. Please check carefully and avoid the revised version.

The authors present "A Novel Self-adaptive Rectifier with High Efficiency and Wide Input Power Range". The topic is interesting, but the contribution is not clear. According to Table 1 there are topologies with similar efficiency for wide power range and in some cases with a better efficiency in very low power, Refs 24, 26 and 29. Moreover the references need to be updated with current references, for example, we can easily find published papers in this journal with similar research.Author Response

The authors propose design and fabrication a rectifier consists of an ITIN and a feedback network with the result of higher range and efficiency compared to several related works. Several comments to increase the writing quality:
1) 2.45GHz -> 2.45 GHz ; put a space to make it consistent similar to other units
2) Provide minimum 5 key words
3) line 19, rf signal to dc current for power -> write rf dan dc with uppercase RF and DC. Also write the full form when the acronyms appear for the first time
4) line 53, is shown in fig. 1 -> is shown in Fig. 1 ; check others and revise all
5) line 66, in fig. 3 (a) and (b). -> in Figs. 3(a) and (b). ; check others and revise all
6) change the images with vector based to achieve highest quality in PDF
7) punctuate the equations with comma or period
8) line 80, shift the sentence to the left margin to avoid making new paragraph. Check also line 84 and others and revise all
9) revise the size of ( ) in the equations (1) and (3)
10) form one paragraph with minimum 3 sentences
11) shift line 139 to the next page
12) font size lines 145 – 148 are not consistent due to smaller than others

Thanks for the comments. The paper is accepted in its current form.
But still, there are a lot of grammatical error,
Please read the Paper carefully to avoid any typos.

The authors improved the paper. The contribution is more clear and the references were updated. In my opinion it can be accepted in its current form. But careful proofreading is required in order to avoid grammatical errors and typos.
