1 | The DECO collaboration has been demonstrated discrimination between GeV cosmic-ray muon tracks and MeV electron tracks caused by radioactive decay using morphological cuts based on track images [12]. However, large number of smartphones (∼ [13]) are needed to reach the sensitivity comparable to the largest cosmic-rays observatories like the Pierre Auger Observatory or Telescope Array. In order to obtain valuable results it is thus necessary to combine the data from smartphones with the data from other detectors. |
