Energy-Efficient Control of a Gas Turbine Power Generation System
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This work is an insightful and well-written research paper that focuses on improving the energy efficiency of gas turbine. The authors provide a comprehensive overview of the key challenges associated with a novel approach for modeling, identifying, and controlling a running gas turbine power plant. They present an aim to raise and stabilize the compressor's differential pressure or pressure ratio.
But I have some comments and questions:
Line 350. Figure 4 should be of better quality. Hard to understand equations.
How much has the energy efficiency been improved by an average since the new control solution was applied?

The paper titled “Energy-Efficient Control of a Gas Turbine Power Generation System” has the following structure:
1. Introduction
1.1 Background and Motivation
1.2 Literature Review and Paper Contributions
1.3 An Overview on Whale Optimization Algorithm
2. Modeling and Optimum Parameter Identification via WO
3. Control System Design and Testing via WO
4. Conclusions
References
The article presents a method of structural and parametric identification of a complex technical object based on a metaheuristic algorithm.
The results of the experiment confirming the efficiency of this method are presented.
Remarks
1. The introduction presented can be more specific: problem, methods and algorithms.
2. In Figure 2, you must specify the dimension of the axes and units of measurement.
3. There is no optimization setting for identifying the coefficients of the problem model.
4. There is no estimate of the time spent searching for model parameters.
5. There are typos in the text.
