- Nursing curricula should introduce different leadership styles that suit the current COVID-19 pandemic, such as inclusive leadership.
- Healthcare organizations should create an inclusive environment and open and accessible leadership as COVID-19 changes the workforce.
- Organizational support should include guarantees for the healthcare workforce who fall ill, through medical and financial support for them and their families and protection from threats of neglect.
- Encourage managers to attend training programs, conferences, and seminars about inclusive leadership styles.
- Future research about inclusive leaders and psychological distress among nurses during COVID-19 in different Egyptian hospitals will provide more rigorous results.
