Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Decision analysis and multi-criteria decision making have been proved to be powerful tools, which provide a rigorous framework to aid decision makers in identifying potential alternatives regarding multiple conflicting criteria and objectives and the making of high-quality decisions for complex and difficult real-world tasks or problems. In recent years, there has been a significant advancement in the field of decision analysis and multi-criteria decision making, leading to fruitful outcomes, especially in addressing complex, uncertain, and fuzzy decision problems.
The Special Issue on “Decision Analysis and Multi-Criteria Decision Making” aims to collect recent developments and findings in the area of decision analysis and multi-criteria decision making; both theoretical and application findings are welcomed. We hope that this Special Issue will enhance and expand the research on the related areas and provide potential challenges and future directions.
Potential topics and their applications include but are not limited to:
- Advances in decision analysis and multi-criteria decision making, new approaches, and decision support systems;
- Handling fuzzy information in multi-criteria decision making;
- Large-scale group decision making;
- Consensus reaching process;
- Multi-criteria sorting;
- Multi-objective optimization;
- Data envelopment analysis (DEA);
- Data analysis and decision making;
- Intelligent decision making;
- Applications of decision analysis and multi-criteria decision making to emergency decision making, early warning, carbon emission estimation, performance evaluation, supplier selection, and so on.
