Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Malaria and other tropical infectious diseases are real world threats that continue to spread around the world due to globalization and climate change. As such, the development and use of efficient diagnostic methods for detection and control are important. Improvement of diagnostic preparedness may reduce the emergence and amplification of emerging disease epidemics.
In this Special Issue, we would like to discuss a new approach for differential diagnosis of various tropical infectious diseases, e.g., malaria, severe acute respiratory syndrome, influenza, Ebola, Middle East respiratory syndrome, Zika virus infection, West Nile fever, chikungunya fever, and dengue fever, etc. We will cover recent information on epidemics in various areas of the world for early diagnosis of various tropical infectious diseases. We hope that this Special issue will provide a test method necessary for diagnosing potentially infectious diseases based on the area of occurrence of the infectious disease, symptoms and physical findings.
