Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Prenatal screening and diagnostic tests are routinely offered to all women in pregnancy. Advances in genetic testing have resulted in substantial benefits for patients, but also significant challenges to providers. As our technology advances, physicians and couples face increasingly complex decisions about the quantity and quality of information they wish to access regarding their fetus. Recent years have seen major debates and important changes in recommendations surrounding the genetic counseling that occurs in the provision of such testing; and the ethical frameworks that support these modern advances may need review and revision.
In this timely Special Issue, we welcome reviews, new methods, and original articles covering all aspects of prenatal screening and diagnosis in the modern era of genetic sequencing. We look forward to your contributions in this field.
