Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue focuses on environmental influences on reproduction and women’s health. Over the past several decades, there have been a host of natural and chemical changes that have affected the environment, which in turn has had unforeseen changes on reproduction, women’s health and their offspring. In addition to environmental changes, some individuals have moved to plant-based diets or diets that exclude certain food groups. This Special Issue will showcase and summarize clinical, translational and basic science studies that highlight the health impact of these changes. This Special Issue also invites basic science studies that highlight seasonal, regional and/or strain differences among animal species or cell culture lines that are commonly used in women’s health research. It is our hope that we will be able to bring more recognition to the subtle factors that can influence research outcomes, which can have a greater impact on moving personalized medicine and therapeutics forward. We welcome original manuscripts, structured reviews and case reports that focus on these outcomes.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
