Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Digital revolution technologies have spread to all fields and are changing the world. Dental practice and dental research are no exception. Digital dentistry is a broad term, comprising any technology or device that joins the digital or computer controlled components dentistry. Some areas, such as practice, patient education and records management, and digital images, could be considered digital dentistry technologies, which have gradually affected the dental care field throughout the 21st century.

Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform care delivery by improving health outcomes and patient safety. Artificial intelligence will power the digital age. Therefore, the focus of this topic is to bring together manuscripts from different areas of research in order to display all aspects of digital dentistry and artificial intelligence applied to dental research. It is expected that some of the works represent the future developments in the field.

Groups from all specialties and fields are encouraged to submit original research and comprehensive reviews that provide new insights into this topic. We look forward to receiving your contribution.
