Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Marine biomaterials are among the most promising and multifaceted developments in materials science today. Far-reaching discoveries and characterizations of the properties, behaviors, and functions of marine harvests and biostructures offer an exceptional perspective for the design and manufacture of materials and products that are at the same time environmentally friendly, nature-based, biomimetic, bioinspired, and functional for application in medical and oral healthcare. This Special Issue of Marine Drugs aims to provide an opportunity for materials scientists and dental clinical researchers to disseminate relevant basic and translational results in the science of marine biomimicry and biomaterials primarily pertaining to the field of dentistry.
