1991 The constituent (1st) congress of the International Society for Pathophysiology - Moscow, USSR.
1994

The Second Congress was run under the presidency of Prof. Yukata Oomura, who signed the agreement to start the new journal Pathophysiology in Kyoto, Japan.

The inaugural issue was released, Pathophysiology was published as a quarterly journal.

2018 Pathophysiology was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2020 Pathophysiology was published by MDPI from Volume 27, Issue 1 (2020).
2022 Pathophysiology was indexed in PubMed—National Library of Medicine (NLM), starting with Volume 7 (Issue 1).
Pathophysiology was indexed in PubMed Central (PMC)—National Library of Medicine (NLM), starting with Volume 27 (Issue 1).
2023 Pathophysiology was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 28 (Issue 1).
