Abstract
:1. Background
- (1)
- Objective: the objective of this study was to assess the role of food insecurity, in addition to additional social determinants, on the mental health outcomes of college students by self-identified gender.
- (2)
- Hypothesis: based on the previous literature, we hypothesize that food-insecure college students will likely have more negative mental health outcomes with a higher burden noted for females.
