Thank you for this interesting addition to the existing paper. The statistics presented do show the alarming extent of lead poisoning incidence in Newark Children. One thing that might further cement the link between these findings and the original paper's arguments about the socioeconomic conditions of Newark correlating with the health conditions would be adding some material explaining (or offering an opinion) WHY historically there is so much lead paint in the Newark area, and WHY (perhaps sociologically) remediation efforts for its removal which have been in place elsewhere have not been in Newark. This is very briefly touched on in lines 64-5, but a fuller overview of lead paint presence and persistance might work quite well before line 25.
