Authors has taken a nice initiative to summarize the different approaches used in the process of cutting straw into pieces and developed new cutting drum design and improved the cutting process performance. The article is well written and easy to understand. Here is few recommendation to improve the article

 

1. Author did not clearly specify the objectives of the article. Must include in the introduction section
2. Check spelling page 2 line 57
3. Page 2 line 82, schematic diagram of cross cut and angular cut will help reader to visualize the parameters used in cutting
4. Figure 2 and 3 required proper labeling of the components

This is not necessary, but in the future, multifactorial analysis of variance could be used to discuss test results, for example, Response Surface. I suggest including in the content of the manuscript of the patent number of a design of the cutting device.
