The below comments are only some points to promote your work for the possible publication version. 

1. In section 2 which is related to Cold Ironing System, it is necessary to review more papers related to your work. You can find more papers in the link:

2. Have you considered the Perturb and Observe method as an optimization strategy algorithm (Figure 4)? Are you sure about it?

Author response: Thank you for your valuable comments. P&O strategy is based on gradient con- vergence optimization algorithms and is suitable for its application to convex optimization problems, which is the case of study. Moreover, P&O optimization has been widely used in power converter applications as stated in S. Kolesnik and A. Kuperman, “On the Equivalence of Major Variable-Step- Size MPPT Algorithms,” in IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics, vol. 6, no. 2, pp. 590-594, March 2016, doi: 10.1109/JPHOTOV.2016.2520212. and A. Ali et al, “Investigation of MPPT Techniques UnderUniform and Non-Uniform Solar Irradiation Condition A Retrospection,” in IEEE Access, vol. 8, pp. 127368-127392, 2020, doi: 10.1109/ACCESS.2020.3007710.. The main advantage of P&O strategy is their easy and natural implementation with the power flow control startegy of the power converter.

Dear Authors,

I read the paper. From my point of view the paper is well written. Title and abstract coresponds to the content of the paper. Section 2 presents the state of the art. Literature review can be accepted, however it contains only 21 positions. All Figures are clear and necessary. Also Tables are well formated. Authors clearly presented experiment and results. A new concept of the cold Ironing shore sub-station has been validated. Lower emissions of selected harmfull gas components were convirmed. Also lower consumption of fuel has been achieved for the auxiliary engines. English is also correct.

In line 81 is stated "... because of its mandatory status EEOI has been used as the CII in this work.". The text seems to imply that EEOI is mandatory, but it is not as it can be seen in the reference [7] of the paper, MEPC.1/Circ.684 of 17 August 2009 - Guidelines for Voluntary Use of the Ship Energy Efficiency Operational Index (EEOI). The SEEMP is mandatory but it only suggests EEOI as one of the possible indicators. The sentence should maybe be rephrased or clarified.
