Executive Functions and Problematic Internet Use among University Students: The Mediator Role of Self-Esteem
Abstract
:1. Introduction
- Analyze whether inhibition, flexibility and emotional control directly influence each of the variables of problematic Internet use analyzed.
- Analyze whether self-esteem directly influences all variables of problematic Internet use.
- Analyze whether inhibition, flexibility and emotional control have an indirect influence, mediated by self-esteem, on the variables of problematic Internet use.
