Reviewer 1 Report
Dear Authors,
The manuscript, Response of different plants grown as a catch crop, on the furrow sowing try to reveal the reveal the response of different catch crop on the furrow sowing.
Comments:
- As the title of manuscript seem not suitable. Pl kindly modifies the title.
- As we know, furrow sowing is generally recommended where there is moisture deficit so there is no relevant information that might be useful for readers. The authors tried to correlate the height, green matter yield, dry matter yield etc with different catch crops.
- Other comments are mention on PDF itself.
- I appreciate the work, but I found the manuscript don’t meet the standard of journal.

1.The abstract should include a statement regarding the significance of the research.
2.The hypothesis presented in lines 63-64 should be reorganized to include the pre-condition in the second-to-last sentence.
3.A map should be included to show the locations of the experiments. The experimental design should be more detailed, including information such as sampling periods, sowing times, and fertilization times.
4.Table 2 needs reformatting for the subscripts. Additionally, Tables 3, 4, and 5 should have vertical axis titles.
5.Regarding the negative impact of trench planting on tansy phacelia, the discussion should focus more on the crop-specific aspects.
6.In the third paragraph, there should be emphasis on the advantages of deploying machinery in the cultivation process, which would lead to better planting efficiency and lower labor costs.
7.The last three paragraphs of the discussion section should incorporate research implications, predictions, and guidance.
