- sagittal slices were used for the evaluation of ACs’ presence in the maxillary central incisor area;
- coronal slices were used for ACs’ direction determination (vertical-, curved-, and Y-shaped) as shown in Figure 2;
- axial slices were used for ACs’ position determination in maxillary central incisors’ area, as well as for the quantification of the following parameters: ACs’ diameter, the distance between the AC and NPC, the distance between the AC and the central incisor, and the distance between the AC and the facial aspect of the buccal bone wall.
