Laws retracts the article “Protecting the Rights of Minorities under International Law and Implications of COVID-19: An Overview of the Indian Context” (Ahmad 2021), cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding an unattributed overlap between this article (Ahmad 2021) and a range of earlier publications (United Nations 2010; Asian Institute of Research 2022; United Nations 2012; Chaney 2019; Minority Rights Group International 2008) published by different authorship groups and organizations.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board which confirmed a significant overlap between this publication and the abovementioned sources, without appropriate acknowledgement, citation, or permission. The Editorial Board has decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Laws.
The author did not agree to this retraction.
