good evening! It is a very interesting paper that reflects the the mechanism of injury in diabetic’s patients undergoing ECMO and suggest treatment and preventive measures this injury I consider that it should be accepted for publication without changes

Thank you for the opportunity the manuscript entitled “Diabetic pathophysiology enhances inflammation during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in a rat model” by Fujii and colleagues. They present a basic science paper of the influence if diabetes on inflammation in a rat model with ECMO. There research suggest substantially enhanced inflammation, which could be a potential target of other therapies.
