Abstract
:1. Introduction
2. Materials and Methods
2.1. Subjects Recruitment
- Migraine (with or without aura) diagnosis according to the ICHD-3 criteria [20];
- Maximum age of 18 years;
- A headache history of at least one year;
- At least one follow-up examination at the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in the previous year.
2.2. Questionnaire Structure and Procedures
- A first part with general questions on clinical characteristics of migraine in the child (e.g., diagnosis of migraine with/without aura, localization and quality of pain, associated symptoms, eventual aura manifestations, frequency and intensity of attacks, type and dosage of drugs used for migraine attacks and their effectiveness in the previous two months, prophylaxis therapies and their efficacy) (supplementary document 1);
- Questions related to the presence of migraine equivalents in the history of the child;
- A last section containing the two standardized questionnaires CSHQ and ESS-CHAD (full version for both questionnaires).
2.3. Sleep Evaluation
2.3.1. Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire
2.3.2. Epworth Sleepiness Scale for Children and Adolescents
