Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The topic of the reviewed article is current and presents the results of the scientific study.

In the article is used only 12 literary sources, which could be more current.

My comments and questions:

In the part „Methods and Materials“ is not obvious, whether the sewage sludge used in the experiment meets the conditions (in terms of their composition) for the application to an agricultural land.

It would be appropriate to state in Tab. limits according to relevant legislation (EHS 91/271 EEC or national legislation).

Page 8: „Regarding the pH, in the untreated variants it had values between 7.32 and 7.34, and in the treated variants it varied between 7.52–7.85. The content of heavy metals in the soil at the end of the period intended to study the effect of urban sludge on the soil was within the normal limits cited in specialty literature.“

What is the specialty literature? Please specify literary sources.

The part „Results and Discusion“:

Irrigation was done by sprinkling, with a watering.

Did the irrigation provide for constant soil moisture? According to which was the stated volume applied?

It is not necessary to present clearly arranged results in a table also in the graph.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear authors,

The manuscript reports interesting results, in line with the scope of journal, in particular offers some unique data about use of sewage sludge from WWTP processed by Euphore installations in agricultural to grow of rapeseed and soybean.

This paper is composed of abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion and Conclusions. The presented material is very interesting and current. The selection of "Materials and methods" is correct. The manuscript is to the point and its arrangement is correct and transparent. The description of tables and figures is legible and understandable. The authors did not make substantial mistakes.
The use of bibliography is correct, although I propose to supplement this section with articles from recent years. Publications on fertilizers based on sewage sludge can be introduced here. Of course, introduce a reference in the part "Introduction"

I recommend this manuscript for some revision.
