Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The topic is interesting and relevant. The idea of tyhe study is good, however, it need to meke a lot of changes

  1. It is neccesary to include related work section, in order to dtermine similar solutions. In that way there are some studies in different countries like the proposed by: - C. Giovannella, and M. Passarelli, “The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic seen through the lens of the Italian university teachers and the comparison with school teachers’ perspective”, Interaction Design and Architecture(s) Journal (IxD&A). (to be published) Available at: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/344521085_The_effects_of_the_Covid-19_pandemic_seen_through_the_lens_of_the_Italian_university_teachers_and_the_comparison_with_school_teachers'_perspective

Also, there is another work proposed by Collazos, C.A.; Fardoun, H.; AlSekait, D.; Pereira, C.S.; Moreira, F. Designing Online Platforms Supporting Emotions and Awareness. Electronics 2021, 10, 251. https://doi.org/10.3390/ electronics10030251

2. In the survey part, it is neccesary to describe population, mechanisms how they were recruited, description (age, gender, status (professor/student(, area, etc). include some figures with this information and the responses of the people surveyed

3. Improve discussion and result analysys

4. Improve conclusions and further work

Author Response

  1. It is necessary to include related work section, in order to determine similar solutions.
We have added a new chapter with literature review.
  2. In the survey part, it is necessary to describe population, mechanisms how they were recruited, description (age, gender, status (professor/student(, area, etc). include some figures with this information and the responses of the people surveyed
We have prepared a separate chapter about method used describing survey in more details.
  3. Improve discussion and result analysys
The chapter with the results has been completely rewritten. Detailed results of the questionnaire survey were added. The structure of the document has been modified so that the individual parts follow each other more logically. A chapter devoted to the discussion has been added.
  4. Improve conclusions and further work
The conclusion of the article was updated and information was added for future research.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper analyzes a very interesting and actual topic, resulting from the current COVID situation.

The research design and methodology could be fine, however, some details are missing for the soundness of the paper:

  • No literature review in this text, I recommend to include it (1-3 pages)
  • I didn't find any comprehensive methodological description, I recommend to formulate a short, separate chapter for it.
  • In case of Figure 1 no source is indicated
  • It is not really clear, what are the consequences of the survey analysis and what are the results of the analysis? It is mentioned that 230 surveys were processed, but how? A data based analysis would be welcome.
  • Just writing the experiences of the past months isn't scientific enough
