Study of the Two-Phase Flow Characteristics of a Damping Orifice in an Oleo-Pneumatic Shock Absorber
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The authors presented a numerical study on Two-phase Flow Characteristics of Damping Orifice
in Oleo-pneumatic Shock Absorber.
The most important findings are to be presented in the Abstract.
The introduction is very short and should be extended.
The novelty of the paper is to be clearly stated.
In the title of Fig. 3, it is mentioned ‘’3D’’ but the presented mesh is 2D.
The 3D mesh is to be presented.
A mesh sensitivity test is to be performed
The numerical method is to be detailed?
What is the used numerical method?
What is the used software?
What is the convergence criterion?
The boundary conditions are to be expressed mathematically.
A validation/verification of the numerical model is to be performed.
What do you mean by Experimental design?
The discussion is to be improved by adding some physical interpretations.
