Announcing the 2024 MDPI Topics Award—Honoring the Top Editorial Teams

Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We are delighted to announce the 2024 MDPI Topics Award. This award aims to recognize the exceptional contributions made by Topic Editor teams who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the scientific community through their support of our rigorous editorial processes and their efforts in curating high-quality, multidisciplinary content for MDPI Topics.
All Topics that conclude in 2024 are eligible for this award. The selection of award recipients will be conducted by the MDPI Topics Subject Editors.
Topics, which are collections of papers that concentrate on specific multidisciplinary topics in two or more MDPI journals., allow authors from different research areas to unite around one theme, describe multidisciplinary applications, and develop new ideas. MDPI Topics offer an alternative way to present your research, across multiple journals and disciplines, thereby enabling a collaborative and versatile research environment.
What are the prerequisites to be eligible for this award?
MDPI Topics with submission deadlines in 2024 are automatically eligible for this award.
