Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years, blockchain technology has rapidly evolved from its origins in cryptocurrency to become a foundational innovation across multiple industries. As a decentralized, transparent, and secure ledger, blockchain offers transformative potential for sectors ranging from finance, healthcare, and supply chain management to energy, education, and governance. The demand for more scalable, efficient, and privacy-centric blockchain solutions has led to significant advances in the field, positioning blockchain as a key driver in the next wave of digital transformation.

This Special Issue, ‘Advanced Blockchain Technology and Its Applications’, explores the cutting-edge developments in blockchain technology and their far-reaching implications. The articles included in this edition showcase groundbreaking research, novel methodologies, and case studies that demonstrate how blockchain is reshaping industries and solving complex problems.

Suggested themes and article types for submissions: advancements in consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps); scalability, security, interoperability, operation, and sustainability.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
