Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years, DNA methylation profile analysis has been proven to represent a novel tool for the classification of tumors of the central nervous system and for the identification of new tumor entities. Recently, this approach has been extended to soft tissues and haematolymphoid tumors, and several tumor classifiers based on DNA methylation profiles have been developed.

This Special Issue seeks to assemble articles on the potential of DNA methylation profiling as a diagnostic tool for various types of tumors, while also examining the benefits and limitations associated with its practical application.
