Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are increasingly frequently faced with patients undergoing anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy, and such therapies have evolved a great deal in recent years, to the point of making it possible to extend the average lifespan.

This means that many patients require implant rehabilitation having alterations in hemostasis.

Likewise, people with congenital hemostatic diseases, such as hemophilia, increasingly require the same type of rehabilitation.

At one time the treatment of these patients in oral surgery was considered complex and little evidence was available to support these treatments; however, at present, many studies have been published with very high standards of treatment.

The aim of this Special Issue is to report the state of the art regarding the treatment with dental implants of patients with alterations in hemostasis.
