Environmental Neuroscience
A section of Brain Sciences (ISSN 2076-3425).
Section Information
The aim of the Environmental Neuroscience section of Brain Sciences is to publish high-quality papers that examine one or more of the over 80,000 environmental chemicals that have an impact on brain health and disease. There are many genetic factors that contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders or neurodegenerative diseases; however, the role of personal exposure to environmental chemicals is not well understood. Welcomed submission topics include neurotoxic exposures and how they lead to neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders; new technological advances and approaches to identifying unknown neurotoxic chemicals and better understanding the effects of cumulative exposures and interactions throughout the organism’s life-span on brain health; and other aspects of environmental neurosciences.
