Molecular Organics
A section of Chemistry (ISSN 2624-8549).
Section Information
The Molecular Organics Section of Chemistry covers fundamental and applied aspects of organic compounds and reactions. The scope of this Section includes the synthesis of new organic compounds and the isolation as well as purification of natural products, in addition to their characterization by spectroscopic methods (including mass spectrometry, IR, NMR, and UV–Vis methods). The scope also includes the disclosure of novel or improved synthetic protocols for the preparation of important organic molecules, the development of novel organic materials, and mechanistic as well as theoretical investigations of organic reactions.
Contributions to the Molecular Organics Section of Chemistry can be in the form of original articles, communications, or reviews. In addition, Special Issues on high-impact topics will also be published.
Topics that fall within the scope of the journal include the following:
- New organic syntheses;
- Biologically active organic compounds;
- Organic compounds of industrial interest;
- Homogeneous catalysis;
- Heterogeneous catalysis;
- Mechanistic studies on organic reactions;
- Isolation and characterization of natural products;
- Theoretical and computational studies on organic reactions.
