Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
United Nations has proposed 17 sustainable development goals and 169 targets to design a blueprint for achievement of better and more sustainable future for all. As per the UNs guideline, each and every nation should implement these 17 interlinked global goals to achieve the agreed targets by 2030. Out of 17 goals, most of them focused on bio-physical management for the environment and health. The emergence of sensing technologies and its increasingly broader influence on many segments necessitates an assessment of its impact on the accomplishment of the sustainable development goals. However, till date, there is no available study for accessing the level to which sensors might influence all facets of sustainable development, as defined in the United Nations and internally agreed sustainable development goals and targets for the 2030.
These special issue aims to develop a scientific knowledge based on special information technology in the health and environmental sectors to address the United Nations sustainable development goals. In regard to achieve the 2030 agenda, this special issue assists the researcher by describing fundamental concept to advance technology of sensing technologies in integrating manner for the planning of resources and infrastructure to accessing the information and dealing the challenges of healthcare and environment sectors. In addition, this special issue also covers the management to rescue the healthcare and environmental challenges on the scale of United Stated Sustainable Development Goals in this particular fields.
On behalf of the Guest Editors, we encourage you to submit your recent research work, critical/tutorial review and short focus articles to provide snapshots of research for a wider audience, in this particular issue on Impact of sensing technologies on sustainable development goals.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Chemosensors is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
