Section Information

This Section, "Computational Social Science", will cover the application of computational methods in social sciences, including sociology, economics, business, political science, psychology, linguistics, and other disciplines. It showcases cutting-edge research in computational intelligence and advanced techniques to address pivotal challenges within social science. We welcome high-quality empirical and theoretical contributions highlighting recent advancements and innovative applications in this dynamic interdisciplinary domain.

In particular (but not exclusively), this Section invites contributions that report on:

  • economic modeling;
  • risk management;
  • business decision making;
  • epidemic model;
  • sociological models;
  • social media and social complex network analysis;
  • modeling of complex social structures;
  • natural language processing.
