Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

Conference: The 29th tRNA Conference
Date: 18–22 November 2024
Location: Kanazawa, Japan
MDPI will be attending the 29th tRNA Conference as an exhibitor, and we are welcoming researchers from different backgrounds to visit and share their latest ideas with us.
The first tRNA conference was held in Cambridge, England, in 1969. Since then, this biennial meeting has been an important venue for sharing the latest results and achievements in tRNA biology and its applications. tRNA has been recognized as a central molecule in protein synthesis. There still remain many unsolved questions in this molecule, not only in biogenesis, processing, modifications, and functions in translation, but also as a signaling molecule and a regulatory factor for gene expression. The physiological impact of this molecule has been demonstrated by human diseases caused by tRNA dysfunction. In addition, tRNA is now recognized as a novel modality for future therapy and tRNA remains an attractive molecule for study.
The following MDPI journals will be represented at the conference:
If you are planning to attend the above conference, please do not hesitate to start a conversation with us. Our delegates look forward to meeting you in person and answering any questions that you may have. We welcome researchers from different backgrounds to visit and share their latest ideas with us.
