Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The grape is one of the important economic fruits in the world and is an ideal fresh fruit and raw material used for wine making. Genomics and genetics research can play an important role in the growth and development of grapes, and can also help us better understand the biological characteristics of plants. The genome of grapes mainly involves aspects such as growth and development, disease resistance, and quality. Cultivating grapes with excellent quality and good adaptability has always been the goal of grape breeders. Utilizing genetic and genomics to achieve grape genome design breeding, introducing variations, eliminating potentially harmful genes, and laying a big data foundation can also improve grape variety.
