Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Cardiac and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a leading cause of mortality worldwide and have prompted intensified efforts from basic science and clinical investigators to develop novel therapeutic interventions for the treatment of CVDs. Despite undeniable progress in this field, CVD remains a relevant clinical issue and our knowledge in this area is insufficient
This Special Issue will present the latest findings in the therapeutic approach to cardiac and cardiovascular diseases. It will include studies on the most common CVD diseases, namely coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, stroke, hypertension and peripheral artery diseases. We strongly support studies focusing on evaluating novel medical devices and therapeutic approaches, as well as the organization of the healthcare system to provide better clinical outcomes for patients.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following: CVD diseases, namely coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, stroke, hypertension and peripheral artery diseases. We strongly support studies focusing on evaluating novel medical devices and therapeutic approaches, as well as the organization of healthcare systems.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
