The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles and communications in the interdisciplinary area of environmental health sciences and public health.
The subsection of Reproductive Health focuses on determinants and outcomes of health and wellbeing at any time in the life course that are related to reproduction. The emphasis of the subsection will be on critical contributions to science and policy, and it will thereby focus on position papers that set standards within the field, evidence synthesis such as reviews and meta-analyses, methodological studies, as well as cutting-edge research accompanied by expert opinions. In addition, the subsection also includes publication of cohort profiles where there is evidence that the study was funded after peer-review.
We welcome submissions on topics including but not limited to fertility, fertility control and treatment, sexual health, periconception, reproductive genetics and epigenetics, reproductive and obstetric health practice and policy, later life morbidity and reproductive consequences of early life exposures, clinical and health services research, and epidemiological studies in these fields. We encourage submissions on topics that are topical, controversial, or emerging, including the effects of environmental exposures, weather extremes, occupational exposures, anthropogenic hazards, natural disasters, war, climate change, and epidemics. Consideration of global perspectives is encouraged for both multi-national and local studies.
