Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Arrhythmic risk stratification in nonischemic cardiomyopathies remains challenging for the clinical cardiologist. In the past, ejection fraction has been the indicator for defibrillator implantation in primary prevention. However, today, we know that we need to go beyond ejection fraction. Scientific evidence has documented the importance of genetics and cardiac MRI in proper arrhythmic risk stratification, but there are still many gray areas in this setting.
With this Special Issue, we ask you to share your experiences regarding proper arrhythmic risk stratification in patients with cardiomyopathy.
