Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Materials for beauty and health have been used for centuries. However, in the 21st century, it is crucial that the materials are sustainable, eco-friendly, biodegradable and natural. This new trend is also noticed in scientific research. Modification of natural products, new enzyme biopolymer technology, using the plant stem cells as ingredient source and the application of fermented products are becoming more and more common.
This Special Issue is dedicated to new trends in any materials that can be used in the cosmetic industry and the production of devices and biomaterials for health prevention and medical treatment of the human body. New ideas for novel eco-friendly materials for beauty and health are highly encouraged.
This Special Issue will also present selected papers on materials science from the 3rd International Conference on Chemistry for Beauty and Health. The 3rd International Conference on Chemistry for Beauty and Health will be held in Cracow, Poland, from June 13 to 15, 2024 (https://beauty-torun.umk.pl/pages/main_page/). This upcoming conference aims to build upon its predecessor's success, providing a platform for global experts to delve into the latest advancements in chemistry, focusing on beauty and health applications.
