Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The remediation of land, water and waste, contaminated with hazardous materials, has received increasing attention in recent years, with an improved awareness of the potential adverse effects on human health and the environment. Bioremediation, including bacteria, plants, enzymes and fungi, has been profusely utilized to remediate different sites. Bioremediation technologies are believed to be cost-effective and environmentally friendly compared to other alternatives. This Special Issue is focused on articles describing new experimental techniques or approaches in bioremediation.
