Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Our world and our pharmacy students are ever changing, and student needs are growing. As a result, schools and colleges of pharmacy are challenged with addressing the breadth of mental health issues and support for their students. Prioritizing mental health support and resources as well as emotional well-being in pharmacy education is essential to providing students the necessary skills to allow them to experience productive education and careers and to reduce burnout and distress. This Special Issue focuses on the measures pharmacy schools and colleges have taken to enhance the mental health and well-being of student pharmacists, and how they have addressed challenges and successfully implemented interventions. What tools, resources, processes, surveys or strategies have been successful? Sharing best practices and well-being research outcomes can lead to better support for student pharmacists, which ultimately may lead to a more competent, satisfied and sustainable pharmaceutical workforce.
