Dear Colleagues,
The goal is to use polymer composite materials and improve their performance. As the global demand grows, aerospace, transportation, and energy applications have significantly improved.
Using polymer composite materials to make bipolar plates for fuel cells can help reduce the weight. However, the critical components that account for the increased volume and weight, i.e., the bipolar plates, and their processes need to be improved. For example, this requires them having a higher mechanical strength during processing and assembly, better resistance to high-temperature/high-humidity cycles, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, hydrophobicity, corrosion resistance, etc., during use. They can must be recycled or remade into secondary products once used. Appropriate catalysts, accelerators, and additives can improve the formula and molding cycle, lighten the battery casing, and improve safety. They can be combined with various renewable energy sources to provide clean and stable energy. Of course, this can also be extended to other industrial applications.
This Special Issue aims to provide a platform to explore all types of polymer composite materials for future applications.
