Dear Colleagues,

This special issue is dedicated to the latest advancements in the field of optoelectronic polymers, focusing on their design, synthesis, and application. We welcome contributions that cover the entire spectrum of research, from fundamental science to practical applications, including but not limited to organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic photovoltaics (OPVs), organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), and other emerging technologies.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Innovative synthetic methods for optoelectronic polymers
  • Design principles for high-performance optoelectronic devices
  • Characterization techniques for polymeric materials and devices
  • Mechanistic studies on charge carrier dynamics and photophysics
  • Energy conversion and storage applications of polymeric materials
  • Integration of polymeric materials in flexible and wearable electronics
  • Environmental stability and degradation mechanisms of optoelectronic polymers-based devices

Polymers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
