Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Water resource engineering and management are instrumental in sustaining the health, prosperity, and stability of our global communities and ecosystems. In a world increasingly impacted by climate change, urbanization, and population growth, the sustainability of these essential resources has become an indisputable priority.

This Special Issue, entitled "Sustainability of Water Resources Engineering and Management", invites you to a multidisciplinary discussion and exploration of the approaches, technologies, and policies geared towards the sustainability of water resource engineering and management. We seek studies that delve into the inherent environmental, social, and economic aspects of these issues.

Papers selected for this Special Issue will be subjected to a rigorous peer-review process, aiming for the swift and broad dissemination of research results, developments, and applications.

We invite authors to submit original research papers and review articles that encompass, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Innovations in water resource engineering techniques and technologies for sustainability;
  • Approaches and best practices in efficient and sustainable water management
  • The integration of data and digital technology in water resource management;
  • The impact of climate change on water resource engineering and management;
  • The analysis and evaluation of policies for water resource sustainability;
  • Case studies on innovative solutions in sustainable water resource management.

We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions to this Special Issue on sustainability in water resource engineering and management. This is a unique opportunity to highlight and share recent advances and innovative approaches in this field of growing importance.
